Hi,
Could I get a private post please….
Please no bashing I feel like I’ve let my little girl down as it is!
My LG is 10 months old and when she was 10 days I moved back home because her dad was constantly drinking.
He went to a counsellor and got sorted and after 3 months we moved back in.
All was going ok until a couple of weeks he walked out and didn’t come back until the next day and he was really drunk.
So Tuesday I went to work and he was going to funeral, he dropped my LG Off at my mums and said he’d be back at 2 to collect her. He didn’t turn up or call my mum. He rang me at 2.30 to say he had too much to drink but was at the petrol station near work to give me my car seat. I had to leave work early to fetch the car seat and my daughter.
Now my point is that when he’s sober and he’s not in that mind frame he’s a great dad!
When he’s in that mind frame he can be for weeks! I have also been told (by a reliable source- his mum!!) that he’s been doing cocaine.
His mum has asked to me to drop my LG off at her house on Saturday and let him come see her for an hour but wants her for the afternoon.
My issue that his mum has seen my LG twice in just over 4 months so my little girl isn’t used to her and is really mummy mard!
I don’t want him around her whilst he’s in this mind frame and whilst I know he’s drinking and doing drugs.
I am not one of them mums who stops him from the seeing my LG. As I say when he’s sober he’s great! And when I moved back my parents my dad took my little girl down too see him 3 times a week!
I’m not going this out of spite I’m trying to do what’s best!!
