Hi could I have a pp to the right page please 😊 my partner has a 6 year old son with his ex. There has been nothing but problems from the time the child was born. My partner was only 15 when the baby was born and since his ex would make it hell for his to see the child. Recently he has been giving his son for the first time in nearly a year. He’s been so broken and crying he feels he doesn’t have a bond with his son. My question is can there be a song bond created at his sons age or will it never be? He’s so hurt atm but I don’t want his giving up hope with his child because he’s hurt I want to help him with his son any help would be great 😊

Just have to take it slowly I’m afraid but can build a bond yes he’s basically a stranger ATM and once the boy feels comfortable and more settled the bond will start to build just let him come to you at his pace x
Never too late. Play with the child. Show interest in what they like. My son is 8 and is obsessed with Minecraft and YouTube crap. It might be torture but tell ur partner to sit through those things with him. Slowly their friendship will develop. Good luck x
