Hi could i have a private post please. I found out i was pregnant last week (1st pregnancy.. around 5 weeks) On saturday i had really bad stabbing pain on my left side so went over a and e. After blood and urine tests came back fine they asked me to go back today to check hormone levels. My hormone level wasnt what they were hoping for and are indicating an ectopic pregnancy so i have to go back wednesday for another blood test to check hormone level again as they should double in 48 hours if its a “normal” pregnancy. I have had a blocked fallopian tube years ago which i refused an operation on as it had a risk of making me infertile and that was that. I wasnt in pain yesterday but am again today but now its mostly on the right side! I was hoping if it wasnt too personal or upsetting for anyone who have experienced an ectopic if this is similar to what happened to themand what peoples thoughts are. Im paranoid now that its wind after reading some things online. Am i over reacting? Why werent my hormone levels doubled if i am?
Also in the past hour iv had stabbing pain in my shoulder which shoots into my boob and down my arm.

I had all these symptoms and was tested for ectopic had a low HCG level so had to repeat 48hours later but I still had pains in my tummy both sides and in my shoulder, went back and thy had doubled and just put it down to the pregnancy my little boy is now nearly 4, please keep us posted Hun and I hope all is well xx
I had should and side pain they thought it was an ectopic pregnancy I had t go for scans an blood test bu mine doubled an the scan showed not in the tubes som times u can get really horrible pains but they do say shoulder and side and arm pain on one side is symptoms of ectopic hope everything Is okay for u xx
Shoulder pain is a big sign of eptopic you need to go to A and E asap X
