Hi could i have a private post please.

I will be 36weeks on Saturday with bump number 4. At my last scan & consultant appointment this morning it was disgussed how bump has had a growth spurt in the last 4 weeks. This could be due to diabetes/high sugar levels and could put my pregnancy at higher risk. I got the glucose test done at 28 weeks and everything was fine. I am back this afternoon to get blood sugars done and get the machine to test my own bloods for the next week.

My question is; if my bloods are high, what happens? The consultant said it can cause complications in labour and for the baby after birth as baby will be looking for the sugar boost. Will they induce me early or is there medication to balance my blood sugars? I do have a high bmi however my diet hasnt been bad through my pregnancy i have maintained my weight very well as requested by my consultant.
