hi could I have a private post please. its gunna be a long one so i apologize. really need some advice before I end up ripping my own hair out! I’m 37weeks pregnant and have a 21month old little boy. we had the health team out the other day to assess him as he’s behind on his development. he can only say baba. mumum. car and all done or all gone. we think it’s because of his ears so he’s getting referred for his ears testing. he gets very very frustrated and past few days he’s been so incredibly naughty! he knows he’s not allowed to kick or slap and he never has once! but the other day he through something at my nephew and hurt him. and this morning he has been hell! in the space of 5 minutes he’s head butted me. slapped me. kicked me god knows how many times so the point I lost it and tapped his bum and told him off. he didn’t cry he just pulled a funny face and put his pet lip out. he’s been naughty in the past but never this bad. he’s thrown toys out of frustration but that’s all. it was only the other day me and my sister was talking about how well behaved he was the fact he’s never hit or thrown anything at anyone. even if someone takes a toy of him 🙁 and now this is happening and I feel awful about it because he’s always been taught to be nice and not hurt people! he’s started to get hurt me alot more including kicking my belly and head butting it too. I don’t think he quite understand they is a baby in mummys belly thou even thou we always tell him every day. he’s normally a really good little boy with the odd tantrums if you say no. how else can I get make him understand that kinda stuff is naughty and he can’t do it because it hurts 🙁 xx
