Hi could I have a private post please. It’s not baby related so if it’s not acceptable I understand. Was just wondering if anyone on here has ever been a pen pal with a prisoner before? I’ve been wanting to find a penpal for a long time and I’ve found some websites that advertise prisoners for pen pals and you can find out why they are in prison etc before you decide to write to them. I want to do it as I think these people could probably use someone to talk to and keep positive with their rehabilitation but then I’m worried people will think I’m crazy or weird for wanting to talk to someone that is a criminal? I was looking at a few women offenders that are my age that are wanting a friend to confide in and talk to about their activities in prison that will help them when they’re released. Is it a silly idea or am I just too worried about what people would think of me 😂
