Hi could I have a private post please?
Today I rang my step children’s mum to talk through what the Christmas plans were. She said she wants them on Christmas Eve till Christmas Day 1pm ( which suits us too) but then she said she’s going to be on her own for the afternoon/ evening and Boxing Day till we drop them the day after Boxing Day! I feel so bad she’s going to be on her own over Christmas. Do you think it’d be weird to ask her to join us? My stepchildren are 7 & 5 and me and my partner have a child together who’s 18 months. I think it would be really nice if we could all spend it together but don’t want to sound weird asking her!! What would you all do?
