Hi could I have post please… my just turned 2 year old who is still in nappies is holding her wee for hours to the point she is shuffling on the floor and hen gets really upset when she does go, plus by this point there is so much she leaks which makes her more upset. I thought about training her and she does wear knickers sometimes but does the same so I’m not pushing it. She also does this with poos now. No infections or anything, does anyone have any tips?

make a point of telling her you are going to the toilet for a wee or poo and get every one in the house to fo the same there is a book you can get its a childrens book thats all about going to the toilet it just takes time and reassurance that this is what every one dose
Oh bless her. My advice is to put her on a potty n in pants n help her recognise it’s OK and she is clever when she can go on it. Or toilet which ever works ☺ she sounds ready to me. My son is in the process of potty training. We’ve cracked the day. Night time next! Little steps goes miles ☺ praise the hell out of her. I use pull ups at night. That’s it. Pants from sunrise to bedtime. We still have the odd accident or he plays up for attention but he nos the urges. Sounds like your little girl is getting them. Good luck x
