Hi could I please have a private post:

Just looking for similar incidents not medical advice. My 10 week old was in the bath with Dad and was quite happy and content. Dad seemed comfortable and I was confident he had a hold of our son. However, our little one jolted forwards and as you can imagine he was quite slippy- I’m not 100% sure if his mouth went into the water of it was just his chin but it was for a split second. He immediately screamed and cried for a good 5 mins after, he was really shook up. My concern is how long should I be looking for symptoms of dry drowning? So far we haven’t seen anything, but of course I’m doubting what I saw and just a tad concerned we might miss something. I know the signs are trouble breathing, tightness in chest, excessive coughing and tiredness but he hasn’t had any of these that I’ve noticed. I’m now about to go to bed but keep looking at him to make sure he’s breathing as I’m still feeling subconsciously a little worried. Anyone Actually had a little one diagnosed with this and had any other symptoms I should keep an eye out for? I will of course seek medical advice if I feel concerned but at present I’m just keeping a close eye. TIA x
