Hi please can I have a private post. I’m
looking for some advice off mums with mixed raced babies or Chinese babies. I mean no offence by this I’m just going off what I was told by my other halfs cousin. My other half is Chinese which is why I asked for Chinese mums or mums with half Chinese babies.
When my daughter was born she was born covered in hair all down her arms legs and back and his cousin told me her daughter had been too, and it was ok it would fall out and it’s just because she’s going to be very dark skinned. Shes 11 months old now and it still hasn’t fallen out. In fact, it’s getting thicker.
Should I be concerned or was what she said correct? I read online that babies can be born covered in hair and it’s fine and usually falls out before 6 months and anything after should be investigated. I’ve mentioned it to a paediatrician who’s she’s under for feeding allergies and he wasn’t concerned so I think it’s still going to be down to her skin tone as she’s very dark already and her dad is very dark skinned and would just like some reassurance or further knowledge if anyone has got any. Thank you x
