Hi could I possibly have a private post please 😊
My daughter is 8, will turn 9 in October, the last couple of weeks she has started her period! I’ve spoken to my GP who says she is what they would class “the lower end of normal” for starting puberty 😕 she has had no other symptoms, pain, discharge etc so I do think it must be menstrual related. She’s probably the biggest in her class going by height/weight (wears age 10-11 clothes) We’ve made a little pack for her school bag with pads, spare undies and wipes etc and I’ve also bought her a book about it. I just wondered if any other mums have experienced this?! It seems so strange to me tucking her up in her Disney PJs at night but knowing this is happening to her?! I feel like it’s still way too early.
