Hi everyone, can I have a post please anonymous, as I’m doing this for my girlfriend … Please bear with my spelling I’m dyslexic.
My girlfriend has been with me just under 3 years, she has raised my children as her own and looked after them with me every step of the way … She works every hour possible sometimes doing 40/50 hours with only one day off a week, my children love her and idolise her, they look up to her.
However before we got together she was in a relationship with domestic violence and always got controlled on what to wear, who to speak to and who not to, how to spend her wages etc the list goes on, I tell her everyday she’s beautiful and how much I love her and my children tell her the same …
However my girlfriend is addiment that she is not pretty nor is she beautiful … She’s a size 16 in clothes and she has a beautiful figure but she doesn’t believe this … She works every hour going, manages the house, pays the bills with me as I work 30/40 hour weeks as she comes in I go to work or vice versa …
I don’t know what I’m looking to get out of this post, I gave her money the other day to go and treat her self to nails or hair dye or something instead she’s put it on food for everyone I’m not complining as its a good thing but I wish she would buy her self something … Is there anything I can do to surprise her or even take the weight off her … We do the housework together as I’m colour blind so my partner takes care of the washing … I love her so much but I wish she wouldn’t offer me money back , she went to work the other day and had no money so she only had a drink I asked her why didn’t she say anything and she said she didn’t want me to worry and she didn’t want to take my money …
Is there anything I can do to try and get her to open up to me and ask for money … I’m not like her ex I love her and have recently proposed to her and shes said yes.
