Hi, has anybody ever deferred their child at school because of age? My daughter isn’t 4 until the 30th of august and due to start reception. I’ve been given the option to defer her for another year because she’s summer born and the youngest in her nursery, I’m torn because she’s meeting all her expected targets but I’m so scared for reception as I know she will be one of the younger ones where as if she was to start next year she will be one of the older ones or at least the same age as other children in her class. Thanks for any advice x
