Hi, i would like to get some advice on foot problems please. My 16 month old LB has what I believe is Onychomadesis. I’ve taken him to the doctor and wasnt taken seriously. The Dr basically told me that if it isn’t bothering him to leave it, which was fine however it has got worse and now his nail is half hanging off and really painful. I would like to know if anyone else’s children have this and of they know of any home remedies I can try to help sooth him and ease the pain. I don’t want to just pull the nail off as it goes quite close to his cuticle and will be agony for him 🙁 I will be taking him back to the Drs tomorrow to see what they can do, but just would like some advice on what to do until then

My sons thumb done this it looked terrible and really hurt him, took him to a walk in clinic where they bandaged it to prevent it catching but basically it had to grow itself out (although my son didn’t like the strips, ripped it off and it came off with it 😷)
