Hi id like to ask a question please
My baby turns 6 months soon but having trouble getting her to nap in her cot.everytime I put her down she immediately wakes up.any advice as to how i get her to stay asleep in cot?
I usually put her in her rocking chair but she’s getting too big for that now.

Try giving her one of your t-shirts to cuddle. This used to help with my little girl’s nap times, I think my smell calmed her enough to get her to sleep!
I also remember the health visitor telling me not to go to her straight away when she started crying for me as long as I knew she was okay (this wasn’t easy to do but did seem to help really quickly!).
Try putting a hot water bottle down to warm it first. A lot of the time they wake up because of the temperature change from you to their cot. That’s what I found anyway.
