Hi im wondering can you pls do a private post.
Just wondering on average what age do mums notice daughters mood swings?? My daughter is 9 and her mood swings are very bad.. she is grounded for her attitude last few mins… she slams doors storms off in a huff and stomps up to her room then 5 mins later expects to go out and play which i wont give into either.
Im a single mum she doesnt behave like this when she goes with her dad every 2nd weekend.. help..stressed out mammy 😧

  • Can u reply please.. i do take things away from her.. she nos its wrong because a while later she trys to be so nice i dont give in with her things if i say a day or a wk i stick to it… i should have mentioned i raised my neice from 7 shes now 19 and she wasnt as bad. I aslo have a 5 year old so i want her to learn from it and not copy. She is well mannered when we go out thank god so its just at home.. she is starting to be moody with my friends/mums too.. hard to deal with her some days.. i just lost a family member so grieving aswell as work and getting my neice thru LC so alot going on

  • Sounds about the right age. My daughter was about 8/9 when her mood swings started. I’d like to say it gets easier but so far it hasn’t. She’s 12 this year

  • My son is 8 months and I noticed his mood swings and behavior at the age of 4 months. Have a little chat with her or counseling maybe?
