Hi, my sister is 18 and 9 weeks pregnant. She’s been kicked out of my mums house (there’s lots of family history with my mum with abuse, neglect and lots of police and SS involvement). She’s staying at her boyfriends parents but they’ve made it very clear that they don’t want her there and she has no where else to go. She’s going to the council on Thursday as that’s the only day she can get off work and she’s worried they won’t be able to help. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Or got any advice on what she can do? Thanks! x

  • Fuck sake poor girl she must feel so loved and supported …not I hope the council help her out and give her accomodation really soon. Last thing she needs is to feel unwanted by everyone she’s got herself and bubs to look after can’t imagine how stressful it all must be on her if u was her I’d tell the lot of them in-laws included to fuck right off I hope she gets a house and puts two fingers up to the lot of them

  • As she’s pregnant and has nowhere to go. The council should put her in an family hostel, or temporary accomodation. She will need a letter off proof, to say she can’t live at your mums etc. She can get one of her bf’s parents also. She will need proof of bubs . Hooe she gets something sorted, poor girl

  • The council should help aslong as can get proven to be kicked out and not just left on own accord they usually get untouched with parents or whoever they lived with to check
