Hi please can you post. I am around 7 weeks pregnant went for an early scan yesterday as I was getting pain and she said the sac was there but she was unsure whether she could see a heart beat as it may be too early as I wasn’t sure on period etc. But when she showed me the screen she said she thought there was a heart beat but she wants me to go back for a re scan in a week. Has this happened to anyone? I’m worried. X

Happened to me, I was unsure of my period dates and I had a scan at 5 weeks so there was only a sac, no heart beat no bubba, went back a week or 2 later to see our healthy little bubba, I’m now 38 weeks pregnant and no issues 😊 it was just to early to see find anything in a scan, they like to be 100% on what they are seeing so don’t stress 😊
I had my early scan and they dated me at 6 weeks 2 days…and it looked like a peanut with a flickering heart beat… may be that you’re not as far gone as you thought xx
I had this with my current baby which is my third. Had a scan around 6 weeks and there was a sac/yolk but no heartbeat. Went back a couple of weeks later and there was a heart beat. If everything looks as it should be then try not to worry, I’m sure baby is fine. If your having pains it could just be your womb stretching for pregnancy. X
