hi, please can you post on my behalf.

I’m looking for a little advice. my biological father left when I was 5. he was in and out of my life (more out than in) and went on to make another family. my mother remarried an amazing man who treated me as his own and he is who I look to as my father. I am 13 weeks pregnant and I told my biological father because I didn’t want him to hear from someone else. him and his new partner seem to have got it into their head that they’re going to be grandparents and for the first time in over 17 years he has actually made an effort. what I’m struggling to make a decision on is should I let me biological father who has never been in my life be a part of my child’s life or stick to the father I have known for 17 years?

Thanks

  • Why not have both? The one who raised you can be grandad and the other one can be grandad *insert name* or just his name if you dont want him being called grandad. If he wants to be involved id let him if i were you xx

  • You could have both and give your biological father one chance. I know if asking for opinions and everyone’s is going to be different but you have got to get to know your biological father yourself. The only person that can make the decision is you x
