Hi please could you post..hey I am needing advice regarding a passport for my 9 year old son..i sent off and payed for my Sons passport only to get a letter through the post today saying that he’s fathers permission is needed ..big problem he hasn’t seen he’s father in 4 years no contact from he’s side.. also my Sons surname has been changed by deed poll to mine..hes father is on the birth certificate..we have a really important holiday next month..what do I do? Please help!! Also I contacted the passport office and explained the situation and they just told me that sorry we need he’s permission! Thank you
