Long story but i’ll try my best to cut it short – not baby related – to do with work.
Ok so I’ve been working for a company for just over 2 years. My line manager insisted I apply for a company credit card to claim expenses back on ect.. basically i’ve gone & used it for Personal Expenses 🙈🙈 us (the employees) are responsible for paying for the bill as it is linked with our personal debit cards but expenses are claimed back through the company intranet. Basically I never got around to paying it back and one day at work HR emailed me about this with copies of statements and copied my line manager in (baring in mind they had been pestering me to make payment for a good while!) I’ve had a meeting with my manager about this where I told him my side of the story and I’ve admitted the offence and stated I was going through financial difficulties at the time hence why I did what I did etc.. He’s stated that there will be a disciplinary hearing with another line manager at a date tbc. I know I have done wrong here and I am really stressing out. I have one daughter & another baby on the way, currently 16 weeks pregnant which I yet havent told work about.. i’m worried about how they will react as I’ve only been back for 5 months 🙈
In all honesty my 1 year old daughter has been ill so ive been off work this week looking after her. But tbh I just feel to curl into a ball, run away and never go back and I just feel to quit 😞 I just dont want to face anything i suppose I am worried and also ashamed at what I have done and the consequences that may follow 😞😞 any advice would be much appreciated.
