Hi there can I have a private post please.
Fathers day came a bit early for my partner today. He is the most amazing step dad ever to my son who has been having a tough time recently with his bio dad. He took me to court for contact but had been missing it a lot and mainly doing it to get to me and for the last year has upset my son. But today I received a call from my lawyer telling me I don’t need to go to court tomorrow as he is withdrawing and no longer wants to seek contact. It is bitter sweet. My son is happy so am I and my family but still will never understand why he doesn’t want my son.
Anyways… my son has always said his step dad is his dad and refused to aknowledge his bio dad as his dad.
I’m trying to think if ways to make this fathers day more special for my partner and son if anyone has any ideas?

I’d still turn up to court hun in case its a trap by him getting someone to ring so u don’t turn up
I’ve done this, bio dad but still a nice idea I think 🙂
Has he adopted him maybe thats something to think about and would be lovely for both of them
