Hi would I be able to have a private post please?
I feel like I’m going crazy, my 4 year old little girl has always had problems with tights, socks, shoes and most items of clothing. She is a very strong willed little girl but every morning she has the same reaction to getting ready. She cries and she says she hates them.
She has so many beautiful items of clothing but will only wear certain ones. Her teachers have said it’s just because she is pushing boundaries but I can’t help feel like she’s getting fed up of it herself. I don’t know what to do, her teachers say I should just more strict, set rules and stick to them. We do have rules but I don’t want to make her do anything she really really doesn’t want to do to the point she’s in tears over just putting socks on. Thank you xx

Iv never liked soft socks as I call them lol. An tights š·. An I’m still fussy with clothes now. My mum would lay me clothes out. I’d go school with a shirt waistcoat jeans an boots šš. X
Sometimes doing it in a different way I know it sounds silly with mine who were the same
I would lay them out and say in a firm voice what are you going to put on first your socks or pants and so on easy but worked for us just giving a firm choice she still feels partly involved in the choice
