Private post please my daughter will b 4 in December and has very poor speech Ave moved to a new area and seen a health visitor wen she was 2 and she left no contact details are nothing will she get better at talking a will she 2 see some 1 for this sorry first time mum

Does she go to nursery or school? They should pick up on it if she does and have a word but also contact your gp for your local health visitor. My lb has just been signed off from speech and language therapy after about a yeR and half. It is fab how well he has come on from this time last year x
My 2 and a half year old has just been referred to a speech therapist as he doesn’t pronounce his words great . I think he’s doing well and his nursery think she’s being to hasty as he is progressing really well at his own pace . We have a hospital appointment which the HV made for us to get his Hearing checked out next month .
These ares the steps my HV has made , maybe ask yours or your doc to do the same x
Call your doctors surgery and they should be able to advise you on the health visitor or at least get one to come visit you x
Speak to reception at doctors usually have there phone number or speak to nursery/ school nursery or school should of at least put something in place of lower then average
