Hi guys, looking for advice on colic, reflux 😊

My baby was a very colicky baby from birth, we used Infacol and it worked really well.

We took her off about 3 weeks ago, she’s four months old and she did really well. Now, she keeps being sick. It started just under a week ago and ended up at the doctors. Doctor said it’s probably a bug. Went home and at 5am (8 hourish) I went to change her nappy and it was still dry, which isn’t like her. So I was worried about dehydration and rang 111. I spoke to a Doctor who said if she is fine in herself and her mouth isn’t dry, there isn’t much worry at the moment. Now she keeps being sick everyday. It’s a lot, like a lot. I had a phone consultation with the Doctor yesterday who agreed that it could be reflux.

She’s happy, smiley, no fever, breastfed, good sleeper, I don’t consume dairy.

She gets grumpy before she is sick, I notice if she burps, she isn’t going to be sick. If she doesn’t, chances are she will be sick.

I have gaviscon sachets, but they’re not covinent for her as she eats on demand which is everywhere. I can guarantee maybe two times. I’ve tried propping her up to eat, sitting her up afterwards and winding her. (anyway to hold cooled, boiled water?)

The question is, should I try to return her to Infacol or could this potentially make her more sick?

TIA xx
