Ok my daughter has had terrible constipation since birth.. she’s been in hospital before for decompactation via nasogastric tube .. it took two days to clear her bowel.. now she’s on softeners.. but her last x-ray still showed her fully backed up with poop. So the consultant looked more concerned about this x-ray and said he would do a barium enema.. I waited for this appointment and didn’t get it.. so rang up today. I’m told now that she needs to go in and have a biopsy taken to check things out.. and rule out heirsprungs disease . Has any mum been thru this before.. I’m extremely anxious.. his secretary just told me today she needed this and the consultants was to ring me.. but never bothered his ass!! I’m so worried for my wee one . Thx
