Hiya, can I please have a private post… I am a single mum of a 3yr old and a 7month old, the father of my children is useless when it comes to the children, “his words” , he shouts at the baby because the baby crys, it really upsets me, I say to him “don’t shout at him comfort him” “he’s a baby he can’t talk”… but the dad just says all he does is cry!.. so he came to pick up the youngest on Sunday and started shouting at me in front of our 3yr old who understands everything and she was crying her eyes out AGAIN, so I said to him over and over “if you keep shouting at me and scaring her then you wont be having the kids, I have never stopped him seeing our children, I let him choose all the days he sees them around his cash in hand work, he gives me no money (never has) and even threw my buggy at me whilst I was holding the 7moth old, he then said he was going to punch me in the face and called me every name under the sun! I feel I should make him have supervised access as he doesn’t know how to look after them properly? Even my 3yr old said “it’s ok mummy he shouts at me all the time) now that broke my heart, but the truth is I’m struggling terribly on my own, I don’t get a single minute to myself and I’m finding it really hard. Any advice please? Thank you from a very exhausted mummy. X
