Hiya, could I get a private post please? My daughter will be 13 in December, she acts alot younger, probably around 6/7. We’re waiting to be referred to a paediatrician as the school have concerns too. Anyway, for Christmas she has asked for dolls. My partner is her step-dad and he thinks I should encourage her to act more her age and buy her things more for her age group, I’m really torn on what to do! So I’m asking what you mums would do in my situation. Please no bashing, I’m trying to be the best mum I can be

Please add, dolls I mean like a baby doll, she can dress and feed
If she wants it get it for her don’t force her to grow up too quick kids should enjoy 5heir childhood x
Buy her the dolls hun x
I would just go with what she wants. If it makes her happy. You can’t make her be someone she’s not x
I would buy her what she wants and maybe buy her a little something that your partner suggests x
I think you should get her the dolls. There is no harm in that. We all develop in our own pace. Xxx
But her what she wants. Kids grow up WAY to quick anyway. As long as she’s happy what’s the harm. X
