Hiya could I have a private post please- basically I have a nearly 18 month old daughter she is one of 4 and she has always been a bit later development wise ie sat up unaided at about 8 months crawled at just over 10 months took first steps at 13 months but she literally doesn’t say one word she has never said mummy or daddy or hi she babbles and makes noises but that’s it ….she does copy like if I stamp my feet she will do it or clap my hands etc she likes to play with her brother and sister and will giggle away and she likes playing with toys well pulling all the toys out lol but she also likes to play on her own alot and just waddles about she likes the TV and dances to music she likes ..she likes shutting the fridge and opening the freezer or opening Cubards etc she does some strange things to like licking the radiator even when it’s on or licking shoes and likes to nod her head …but also has horrendous tantrums banging her head on the floor …and she seems to have no understanding like if I ask her to get me something she doesn’t no what I’m on about she said very smiley but also crys alot! She responds to her name and smiles when I smile at her and likes being chased and can be very playful she loves 1 blanket won’t sleep with out it and most of the time gives eye contact I’m not sure what I want from this post but I’m just a little concerned that she could have some sort of autism as obvs I’m worried and googled etc not that I am bothered if she was would just like to know if it’s normal really the things she is doing and with her not talking like if I should speak to a health visitor any advise would appreciated thank you
