hiya could i have a private post please …. my baby is 22 months old and does not say anything …dosent speak or say anything! my 5 month old says more than her …she was under adudiology and has been back 2 times now and there saying she has fluid in both ears but they didnt really explain anything else to me …at one point she had no understanding but slowly but surley is getting there ie ….i say go get coat and she wil pick it up but only because i have been teaching her what her coat is …and she understand come here and get in to the pram and also no! im just concerned about her having no communication what so ever also it may sound silly but what does flat eardrums mean ? is it normal? she has forever got a snotty nose aswell ….thankyou in advance x

If she has fluid in her ears it may mean that she needs grommets..my little boy had glue ear & struggled to pronounce words and hear properly. Had grommets fitted a week before he turned 4 & within 6months the difference in his speech was amazing! X
Would it be worth learning some makaton or get some picture exchange cards?
