Another private post please
So im 26 this year and have just found my dad on facebook he has never been part of my life and has never been interested none of his family have been even when csa was involved they couldnt touch him because he jept changing jobs or got taxed abroad my question is is it possible to claim back dated csa now from him as im 26 or would that not be possible? I dont want anything to do with him or his family of 4 and 2 grandkids i just think my mum struggled to bring me up and after not receiving anything from him at all i think i deserve it now

I think because of your age it won’t be possible. Sounds like you have done well without him so I would just continue how you are. I know it’s not the best but you are the person you are today because of your mum. You don’t need him now x
csa is only back dated to the date that a claim was made but as ur 26 a claim couldnt be made as only paid to parents of children under the age of 16 or 18 if still i full time education x
I think you can you would have to seek legal advice
