I have a meeting at school tomorrow regarding my son’s behaviour. Since September my son’s behaviour has changed dramatically at school, leaving me worried and anxious every time I drop him off. I have had a meeting with his school teacher which left me feeling even more anxious. My son’s behaviour has changed he is now withdrawn, refuses to go in school in the morning, cries most of the day to come home. When I’ve asked my son about school it’s always negative stuff he says. When I pick my son up on Monday evening the first thing he said to me was mummy why didn’t you come to school and protect me today. I have had a meeting with his school teacher, they claim he’s picking up things from TV my son only watches TV for an hour in the morning and the same at night. I’ve had several phone calls from school over last couple of months where have I to go into school and reassure my son I am coming to pick him up. I’m really concerned that something is going on at school but school are always putting the blame onto me. My child has been in school since he was six months old school claim that he has a separation disorder. I believe it’s the teacher that he has, as he hasn’t built a positive relationship with my little boy doesn’t even greet him in the morning when he arrives at school and every time I see him speaking to my son he’s always got his arms folded. The meeting I have tomorrow is with his head teacher and wondering how to address this issue? Thanks
