I need some help ladies this is ruining what should be the festive period πŸŽβ˜ƒοΈπŸŽ…πŸ»πŸ€ΆπŸΌ I have 2 children. My parents live 2 hours away and I’ve always spent Christmas with them. Here’s the thing…..my partner and my mum do not get on. My partner has been a shit bag over the years and hasn’t been to helpful since giving birth. My mum and him had a few words a few months back. He’s not interested in seeing her I don’t think. Mums asked me the dreaded question, are we all going to spend Xmas together and she will put up with him for our girls sake. I’d love to go my 2 year old is nanny and grandad mad. But I’m slightly concerned about mentioning it because of the outcome. How do I go about doing it?? Thank you ladies I need advise as it’s ruining Xmas for me already πŸ’”πŸ˜£πŸ˜’ xxx

  • I understand you want to spend Christmas with your mum and dad but why would you want to ruin xmas for your partner making him feel uncomfortable around your mum if they do get on. Personally I’d have it with my partner and kids and visit grandma later xx

  • It’s her partners fault they don’t get on why should she miss out on Xmas with her parents tell him to suck it up for one day or to make other plans for his Christmas day dinner 😁

  • Plus I’d never ask my partner to go somewhere where he wasn’t welcome where they would ” just put up with him.xx
