I really need a private post please
I’m in tears… I had a phone call from the safeguard team at my daughters school, she is 3 and told a teacher that my boyfriend hurt her… now I know safeguard have to things a certain way but my boyfriend has known her 3 years and has always treated her like his own … he would never hurt her and I know that for a fact before anyone questions it …. the school also were concerned my child bites her wrist/hand when upset ? (She seems to only do this in her school which multiple people can back up) and she went into school with a bruise above her eyebrow (she ran into a clothes trolley thing in a clothes shop before school)
Anyway those are their reasons .. they have reported to social and now I need to wait for a phone call and visit … I’m scared a three year old has said something crazy and now all this please can anyone give advice? No abuse just experience or anything helpful xx

  • I don’t know your situation, and have never experienced it, but no one can ever say for certain that someone hasn’t done something. Talk to her, maybe it was done by accident and she took it out of context or maybe not. Either it happened or it didn’t, but either way there is a reason why she’s said it, you need to find that reason x

  • My partners little boy (4 y/o) went round school saying “daddy hit me & mummy” so social services got involved, questioned the parents and left it at that! Turns out he’d witnessed my partner & his ex play fighting and had taken the wrong end of the stick 🙈 No further action was taken 😌 hope this puts your mind at rest a little xx

  • Social services will come and speak to you and decide if they want to follow up the accusation. Someone reported me to ss for the kids fighting in the car. They came round checked over the house spoke to the kids and left. School have to report any signs of abuse to a child and bruises and self harming are signs of an upset child if your certain nothing has happened speak with them and I’m sure everything will be fine xx
