I received a letter 3 weeks ago about a hearing test my 4 year old daughter had 5 months ago.
It stated we needed to make a follow up apt urgently within the next few weeks.
We had this apt yesterday, at this apt they decided fitting grommets and removing her adanoids was the best cause of action (all good getting her hearing sorted at last)
However towards the end of this apt she mentioned a lump on my daughter’s neck that was noticed at previous hearing test and is still present, She then went onto say that they would send me an ultrasound apt quickly and then if cells needed to be taken they would do this when she’s out having her operation to incert grommets and remove adanoids. I’m liturally having an internal meltdown today! All very well family saying don’t think the worst but I’m in pieces here.
Don’t know what I’m looking for other than reassurance from someone who’s had a positive outcome with a similar situation…
