I was wondering if you or anyone in the group could help me with some advice I have been in and out of hospital a lot already with my pregnancy (I’m only 20 weeks) and type 1 diabetic I am struggling to keep my bloods up and I’ve done everything I have been told to do, I am also struggling to keep any food down and with the diabetes already at a stretch I need to keep some food down any preferences on food that settles easily?
Thank you

  • Have you tried jacket potatoes? I’m not diabetic but I had severe sickness during my second pregnancy (it was that bad, I lost almost 6 stone throughout the 9 months) and jacket potatoes was one of the only things I could have that stayed down. Xx

  • Are you craving anything that will stay down? I’m type 1 & had really low bloods for the first 16wks & was in & out of hospital. Sounds daft but i could eat plain noodles no problem & plain biscuits. Your welcome to msg me if you want xx

  • I am type 1 and now have a 15 week old. The best thing I could keep down through my pregnancy was Cereal. My blood sugars did improve though. Hope things get better for you xx
