Its a bit of a long one..

Basically i was wondering if anyone knows about or could explain second guardianship.. i think its called that anyway. My mil and fil foster and have asked us countless times if we will take on my partners foster sister. She has downs syndrome. Before anyone jumps down my throat, i have a 5 year old and a 3 month old baby. My baby may need surgery within the next year and without sounding cheeky, they are my priority. I just wouldnt have the time to take on this girl. Anyway my mil asked my partner the other day if we would be second guardians. He thinks thats what its called anyway. Does anyone have any ideas what it is? Thankyou x
