Me and my sons dad split as he was violent;we split 3 years ago. Since then I’ve had to call police on him 3 times for violence or sexual assault. I had to stop contact ect. I went to go see my solicitor and we got as far as mediation but he didn’t turn up,but contact had sorted it self out,but I did get offered the court papers to take things further but I declined. So contact was good til yesterday. I wasn’t aloud to pick my son up from my ex’s and the partners house as the partner won’t allow me to her house to collect my son die to the fact I rang the police on my ex in the past. I also have concerns about my son’s behaviour since contact has started back up like smacking me pinching pinching kicking.. they play fight at daddy’s so I know it’s from there. Also I got my son out of nappies for then my ex’s girlfriend to force one on my son and reduce him to tears and has since then wet the bed every night. I have stopped contact again for these concerns. Would the next step to be contact my solicitor and then court proceedings? Thank you x
