My child has an imaginary friend called “friendly” she had had this friend for a while now.. she has said a couple of weird things like “friendly is nice now mummy, he says he likes cuddling little girls” and she had picked up one of our dvds with a scary picture of a man/monster thing and said that it looked like friendly.. 😬.. yesterday we were at her nanas in the day and she had kept going on about sleeping in the loft as she was staying that night.. my mum said to me she had apparently woke up screaming in the middle of the night and was terrified of something in the room, my mum said she was trembling.. and kept going on about a bad pet and that she wanted to sleep in the loft.. In the morning my sister had over heard her tell her little cousin not to go near the room as there was something dangerous in it and wouldn’t go near it herself.. later on she said she had another friend called happy but happy was bad.. she said happy talks to her and said that he lost his mummy and when she was cuddling nana that night he was shouting at her “get off my mummy, I’m in charge here” and that he was telling her to go up in the loft to play with him… slightly creeped out but thinking and over active imagination? She has had some sort of trauma recently and I’m thinking she’s trying to cope.. anyone else’s children have creepy imaginary friends?
