New post. I’m due to start a job weds 16hrs a week I’m a single mum never had a job since been a mum wondering what I’ll get on top of my wage. And when do I ring up tax credits and social to sign off jsa. I start on weds the wages are a week in advance so won’t get paid to a week on Friday I think. Any help be great 🙂

You can tell them now about your expected start date, the amount you will be earning, any childcare you’re paying for and they will work out your tax credits. You can also sign off JSA now just pop in it ring them up. There is a calculator online to work out your credits
