Please can I have a pm. My sister told us she wanted to divorce her husband back in October. It didn’t add up. Well turns out she was having an affair. Her husband paid for a detective and she was caught out. The man she is having an affair with is known to break up marriages in the past. I feel my sister has been brain washed by this man and she has really changed. She says to us that she hasn’t been happy for a few years yet it is hard to believe as she always has lived a great life , they always went away, she didn’t have to work , they seemed so happy. I have found it hard to support her in wanting to divorce her husband when I no the new mans history. The problem is she tells so many lies to all our family it really upsets me. Her husband has now taken to going out most weekends , his way of dealing with it. They still live together and the kids are oblivious to the truth. They think the other man is mummy’s friend and daddy does not trust mummy and daddy is now getting drunk and calling mummy names. The children are not babies and I feel they should know the truth as it is getting close to the older child really resenting his dad. My sister took me of her Facebook and it really hurts. I love her so much. I want her to be happy but I can’t help but feel this new man won’t stick around and she will loose everything.
At the weekend she called me and was really shitty on the phone, I knew her and the hubby most of had a row so in anger I messaged the fella saying he was scum, since then she won’t talk to me. I can’t help how I feel about him. This has been going on for 8 months. It is taking over my life as I’m worried for her, yet it seems she has made it clear to me now that she doesn’t want to know me. Don’t know what to do….. 😞
