Please can I have a private post,
I have been split from my kids dad now for a good 7 months, it was a domestic abuse relationship, social services, police, health visitors, domestic violence team were all involved, and after the break up I was advised not to allow him to have access or to even see the kids. Since the break he hasn’t even asked about them never mind wanted to see them, he pays nothing towards them, randomly I’ve received a message from him wanting to see his kids, I haven’t replied and I don’t want him to see them he is more a danger to them in my eyes. I was told last night by someone he has spoke to that he is waiting on a letter back from his solicitor re seeing the kids. Now I know he is on benefits and doesn’t work, would he get it all free? Or would he have a lot to pay to go through a solicitor? As I know he won’t have the money to pay a lot, he spends his money on drugs, alcohol and fags.
I don’t want him seeing the kids I no some of you may think it’s bad of me as he’s their dad, but after spending 6 years with him I know he’s more of a danger to kids through past experiences..
is there anything I can do to make sure he cannot get access to my babies. (His full family do see the kids on a regular basis)
