Please could I have a private post. This might sound pathetic but I am in my very late 20’s and a single mum. Me and my ex (child’s dad) separated 4 years ago as he wasn’t ready to grow up and enjoyed the pub more than the family life. We have started to become close again and he wants us to try again. We would start dating and not include children (he has a child from a previous relationship) I honestly believe he has changed the only issue is I am really close to my parents and they hate him. I can’t even imagine telling them and how they would react, I know it sounds stupid but I’m so anxious over it and I’m worried they will disown me. I could honestly just cry I feel so stuck and have no idea what to do. Help! x
