Please could you post privately

Am currently pregnant with my second baby and am officially a single mother 😔not how I saw my future with my first I was entitled to maternity allowance and at the time my ex would provide now because of what my ex was earning it meant we weren’t entitled to the sure start grant but this time am in a completely different situation my question is would I be entitled this time? As am now on benefits and a single mum when I last visit the midwife she told me I wouldn’t get it ask I’d receive it for my first but when I explained actually we where not entitled to it then she seem very sure I’d receive it this time any help would be great please no negative am struggling with my new situation and just want to be ready
