Please don’t judge… I don’t mean to sound ungrateful 😔 I’m currently in temporary accommodation with the council and they accepted to house me. They called me on Thursday with an offer of a property, a two bed flat. The problem is the area, it’s full of drugs, violence and also I know some people who get housed there are ex convicts.. it’s full of trouble I’ve googled it and a lot of sex offences happen there.. I know if I refuse it basically making myself intentionally homeless, but what should I do as I really wouldn’t feel safe there!! A single mum with a newborn baby.. it scares me, but i really do need somewhere to live.. does anyone have any advice regarding this? X
