Please don’t show my name I have people I know here and they can’t know yet please please make this private

My 13 year old son has informed me that he has had sexual contact with a boy much younger than him the boy is around 8 or 9. My son instigated it .I am in absolute shock can’t believe this has happened I am taking him to report it this morning and I am terrified the family in question will take revenge on my son after they are imformed,it isn’t a guess it is from know ing how the family operate and how they will see my son basicly a nonce. I don’t know how I will keep him safe from them. I also have other children I fear for. My son has a learning disability that affects his social skills so the consequences are going to have a profound affect on him which I will work through but the thought of him being attacked terrifies me. I guess I’m looking to see if anyone has been in a similar position to this I don’t know really my head is battered
