Has anyone been measured by the midwife to be told their baby is under the 10th centile, to be referred to the hospital for a growth scan for everything to be okay?

My daughter was 4th or 5th centile at 6lbs 13 Oz at 11 days over. But at the time she’s was considered perfect but since.they changed everything I now have to have growth scans ect. Apparently my current baby is between 10th and 50th no idea what that means
Yeah I did. Baby was just sat more towards my back so bump was really small. A couple of weeks later I was measuring normal again. Until the end of the pregnancy when she was a little monkey and stopped growing so ended up being a 5lb 6oz baby. Don’t worry yourself. The babas just like to scare you xx
I had growth scans with baby number 2, she was born and on the 3rd centile. Was referred to a specialist unit at a different hospital and was told her size was fine although I thought she was small and 3rd centile was small but hospitals always tell me different things x
Yes I did with my 4th. They said I’d be “lucky if she weighed 4lb” I was prodded poked weighed and scanned every week. She apparantly had stopped growing. She was born day after her due date 6lb 6oz
I was measured small by midwife, referred to hospital to find baby was normal, the measuring tape midwife uses isn’t accurate, try not to worry, it could also be the position of the baby aswell x
This was me at 34 weeks, y midwife laughed at my huge bump and told me that she would be over 9lb. She came 2 weeks late and weighed 7lb 8oz. My sister had a tiny bump and my niece was 8lb 15oz. It’s easier said than done but try not to stress until you know what’s what. Fingers crossed xx
I was small all the way through my pregnancy and had growth scans every two weeks, but had quite a healthy size baby with no problems, this was my bump at 36 weeks c
I was the opposite. I had a massive massive bump and a growth scan because of it. Was told to expect 9lb baby! He wa shown at 39+4 at 5lb 4oz xx
I had this said he was measuring really small had a scan to say he was actually really big and had to be monitor for diabetes etc weighed 7lb 7 at 37 weeks xx
I kept having growths scans as was always measuring small, at the scans everything was fine! But kept on measuring small then he was born 10lb 2oz!
I had growth scans with my son. I put it down to stress. He came 5wks early weighing 4lb 9oz
All 3 I measured 4-6 weeks behind
1st 7lb 11
2nd 9lb 9
3rd 6lb 6
So all reasonable weights
