  • My daughter said about 10 words by her 2nd birthday, on her 2 year review health visitor wanted to refer her to speech therapy but I knew she would get it on her own as she was learning I could see she was so they let me wait 6 months well she’s 2 years 4 months now and says the alphabet, knows her colours, can count to 10, sings nursery rhymes all day every day! Can communicate all her needs and is now been toilet trained for 6 weeks asking every time she needs to go. Something just clicked in her and it will with yours too, don’t worry Hun she will get there in her own time x

  • Some children take a bit longer to hit their milestones than the “average” child. I work with preschool aged children and there really isn’t an “average” child. If I were you I’d make an appointment to see your Dr or Health Visitor rather than asking for advice on Facebook. You’re obviously worried about it so try to get an appointment for your daughter with someone who is able to give you the answers you need.

  • Typical toddler my little boy finished a talk group last month. He was 2 in October. They learn in their own pace. Don’t stress 🙂 x

  • My best friend in the whole wide world, her second child didn’t say A WORD until she was three. Then one day just hit the ground running with full sentences, whole songs, everything. Turns out her older brother was talking FOR her and she just never had to say anything lol
