Had my childs parent meetin with his teacher yesterday and she basically said he needs to concentrate more at carpet time, basically he takes no interest in listenin and takin part sometimes so when it comes to sittin at the table and doin his work they have to explain to him again what to do then he does it, we have already had a speech and language woman come in and she discharged him and said he was where he should be for his age and then now we have seen an Occupational Therapist who also said he seems fine and is doin things a 7 to 8 child can do! We all have a meetin with the occupational therapist in School next week to go over stuff ect but what to people think? I hate the thought of my child sittin there at carpet time not concentratin ect and obv don’t want him to struggle in School? Also his teacher was sayin he very childish for his age, for example he sat and he scribbled in his Literacy book for no reason so got sent to the Head and was very sorry and promised he wouldn’t do it again? Just don’t know what to do anymore? Any advice would be great..thanks
