Ppp. Am I over reacting? I usually do 🤣. My eldest daughter is 2 and a half. Her granny on my partners side (his mum) has always been good with her, had her over night every few weekends to give us a break from being 3 months old and would dote on her when she came to visit. Fast forward 2 years and we now have another little girl she’s now 4 months. I feel like granny leaves her out. I understand she probably wouldn’t want to take both of the girls for the night which is fine but she hasn’t even offered to have baby even for an hour. She continues to have the eldest over night every 3-4 weeks and takes her swimming rtf but when she visits she doesn’t even pay the baby any attention. Once I said to baby aww here’s grandma and put her in her arms just so she would give her a cuddle, literally 2 mins later she put her in her rocker saying I can’t see your little face when I’m holding you can i and then went playing with the eldest. The baby has been hard work as she has reflux and allergies so she’s hard to feed so I kept using that as a reason but now she’s perfect (most of the time) I just feel like my eldest is getting favoured and I feel bad for the baby. Obviously the baby won’t know yet but she will as she gets older. I wouldn’t mind if grandma said she’s too much tobhave over night but can I take her for an hour then I’ll come back and take the older one to mine etc or even play with the baby when she visits instead of saying the 2 year old “doesn’t give me chance to spend time with the baby” when she says that I say well I’ll go play with her and u spend time with the baby but 5 mins later she’s out playing with us. We’re all going out later and I’m gonna try spend most of my time with the eldest and try get granny involved with the baby as eldest is staying there tonight. Am I reading too much into this or should I say something? It’s normally me over thinking tbf 🤣 x
